In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Material

Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
